THE DIFFERENT TYPE OF DART METALS

BRASS DARTS

Brass was one of the first metals to be used for dart barrels, and produces some of the least expensive darts. It is a light alloy composed of copper and zinc. Due to its lightness, brass allows for larger darts while maintaining a lighter weight.

TUNGSTEN DARTS

Tungsten is an element on the Periodic Table, and is very heavy for its volume.
Due to its dense quality, tungsten allows for slimmer darts. A tungsten barrel is also far more durable than many other metal barrels, giving the dart owner a better value.

SUPER ALLOY™ DARTS

The environmentally preferred "Brass Alternative" with none of the health concerns of brass, Super Alloy will never tarnish or rust. With our cost effective line of Super Alloy darts, you can count on the same strength, superiority, and trademark quality as in all Bottelsen products!

In the early 20th Century, darts were primarily made of wood.
As time progressed, so did the use of such metals as brass and tungsten.
